    Best Strategy:

    1.  Identify your specific allergens;

    2.  Know how to prevent or avoid your allergens;

     3. Find the best (maybe newest)medications and treatments currently available (avoiding side-effects) to relieve your allergies.

     Better Control over allergies using Allergy Identification  forms

       (plus newest information - and allergy prevention products)

    On a bad allergy day, do you feel your head is 'wide open' to all your irritating allergens (things you are allergic to)?

    Have you ever been one of these

       unfortunate people?

    A business executive has severe stomach pain and has difficulty breathing - and almost dies after eating lobster. A woman gets a rash when she uses her new perfume. A woman at lunch develops diarrhea when she decides to eat a chocolate sundae dessert. A young boy dreads going to Scout summer camp because he knows his nose will be clogged up and he'll cough, sniffle and sneeze a lot. He's also worried about the bad reaction he gets to insect stings. Finally, a previous apartment dweller and now a recent house buyer - finds that after mowing his new lawn - his eyes itch and water and he has a sneezing 'fit'.

    They all need to have better allergy identification and know their allergy triggers (items # 0214 - 0233), in order to be able to prevent and treat them.  They should also ask their doctor about all the newer specific-symptom, non-drowsy medications  - that could help them find greater relief. (medication list - item # 0116).

    What's the problem then?

    What do all these people have in common? They all suffer from some type of allergic reaction that may cause their body to respond in many different uncomfortable ways. They are not alone. According to the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) approximately one out of every six people suffer from one or more significant allergies. Unfortunately, you can be allergic to just about anything - feathers, pollen, mold, dust mites, chalk, wool, milk, eggs, chocolate, nuts, wheat, tomatoes, lobster, pet dander, insects, aspirin, penicillin, latex, wasp venom, poison ivy, dust, grasses, trees and even your husband, wife or 'significant other' (their cologne or perfume - that is). The list is almost endless, fortunately excluding a loving husband, wife or 'significant other' - without their cosmetics. So, at the very least, you should be comforted that you are not alone in trying to identify your allergies.

    There are many 'things' to be allergic to and many people who are. Information on this website is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment provided by a qualified health care provider. This is to educate you on identifying your allergy triggers  (item # 0214 - 0233) and the types of allergy medications, treatments, and avoidance / preventative measures available (for an allergy proof house). This will then help you become a more active allergy investigation partner with your doctor's treatment recommendations.

                         So, now what?????

    Take heart, by obtaining a greater knowledge of your own specific allergies and taking more responsibility for your own health - you can find a much higher degree of relief from your allergies.  No one cares more about your good health than you do.  It's also a very good idea to have someone with you when you are seeking medical help.  A concerned partner can often better remember and relate important physical issues to your doctor, especially when you are in 'bad shape' and can't best do that yourself.

    This site has alot of allergy forms to help you first identify your allergies,  next - learn how to prevent or avoid them, and finally - how to become an informed partner with your doctor to find what old or newer medicines and treatments that can better treat your allergies.  Also included are some inexpensive-priced products that you can use to get rid of a lot of your allergens, in your house and specifically in the important area you spend about one third of your life - your bedroom.

    There is a bit of 'levity' in this site.  However it can't be stressed enough,  that serious allergies and asthma can be life-threatening. You can also learn more about your own allergies by reviewing this site's screens and using the  "Allergy Proof" forms to better isolate your allergy 'triggers' and avoid them.  So, if you want to become more informed and take better control over your own allergies and health (along with becoming a participating partner with your health provider) - get your detective hat on and let's get started - okay?
